Fresh Meat

Postby Eversor on Thu Dec 04, 2008 12:05 am

Guys,
I would like to join the fold. I have generated a char on the http://www.darkreign40k.com/ char generator, if that is OK??

I know christmas is soon, but next time you are looking at running a session, I would like to join the fun. I am sourcing the rule books as we speak, errr as I type?

Are there any questions, what do I need to do/know (apart from reading the core rules!!)

I'd love to run another session but I have a feeling that the others have gone the way of all good things ...

Maybe we can organise another group to run ... anyone else interested in running a game ?

I'd love to give it a go. We could run it one night at Club Gimp at the 4x4 or on the couches while the other games are going.

We just need a GM I spose...
Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own theme park, with blackjack and hookers. In fact, forget the park!

Remember, there's still http://rpol.net to run a game over if you want to do it that way instead of trying to get together regularly...

Online would be doable eventually but we'd need to run a couple of sessions face to face to get a feel for the game and how the game mechanics work.

GEP is up for anything, even a night with Pizza in 'Sydney'

How many do we need to run a reasonable game? Can we just have 2 or 3 with a couple of chars each?

Obviously the more the merrier, anyone who has played some RPG in the past should give it a whirl. Gives some other options if all the tables are full of 40K TT.

And Yes the rhino is cool. saw some pics ages ago showing the conversion from start to finish.

3 with a couple of characters would be good ... but the more the merrier if we want to do a session one night ... you do need some D10's to play and a pencil and alcohol so whenever we can organise that I'd say it's on.

Some thought on how an RPG works might be good but not essential ... Anyone else up for a night ?

Totally and completely off topic ... and that is so cool to see ... The Blood Ravens (as appearing in DOW) must use the Blood Angels rules as they clearly have a Furioso in the opening movie sequence ... or am I missing something ?
